PFAS are linked to potential toxicity and bioaccumulation in humans and ecological receptors. They are found in everyday items like food packaging, nonstick pans, and waterproof fabric, as well as industrial products such as aqueous film-forming foams used to extinguish fuel fires. Chemicals classified as PFAS include an estimated 3,000 to 10,000 individual compounds with broad variability in toxicity and chemical properties. Please join us in congratulating Chad Lynn on his promotion as Group Manager in our Rocky Mountain Infrastructure and Water/Wastewater Team. Chad joined our Sheridan, Wyoming office in 2023, bringing with him over 20 years of valuable experience in civil engineering. A graduate of Montana State University, he was drawn to Sheridan by the beauty of the Bighorn Mountains. In his new role, Chad will oversee the utilization of group members, contribute to business development efforts, and manage project workloads and staff assignments. Outside of his professional life, Chad is a dedicated family man. He and his wife are busy raising four active children, and he enjoys spending his free time fly fishing, riding dirt bikes, and attending concerts of his favorite bands, such as Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters. Doug Bower has been promoted to Rocky Mountain No. 2 Group Manager within our Petroleum and Petrochemical Services Business Unit. After graduating from the University of Wyoming in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology, Doug worked as a data specialist for upstream oil and gas companies. Since joining Trihydro, Doug has contributed significantly to numerous projects for oil and gas clients in Wyoming and New Mexico. His responsibilities are diverse and include drilling oversight, document preparation, data management, and the management of remediation system operations.
