A major conference on #drones and their noise impact is being organised by The University of Salford. And the team are inviting experts, whether in academia, industry or regulatory bodies to participate with papers and research ideas. Quiet Drones 2024 will be taking place between the 8th-11th September 2024 and is being organised by the University of Salford Acoustics Research Centre at Salford. It is a symposium focused on all aspects of noise and acoustics from Unmanned Aircraft Systems and eVTOLs. The conference is for Industry representatives, public authorities, regulators, consultants, and academics working on noise control and acoustics with a focus on Advanced Air Mobility, as well as UAS users. We should all be interested in this as the onus is on us to make inroads into reducing the carbon footprint of what we do. There is some low-hanging fruit in this regard but what lies beyond that for us? How can we make real impact on this front. ————— Each year Safe Events Global selects courses to fully fund for primarily the Irish event industry. The 1.13.9 has so far only appeared on the DJI RC 2 controller. Supposedly 1.13.8 messed up Waypoints for some users. 8. The Osmo Mobile 6 came out an update that added Apple Watch control among other things.
