Alongside other Techstars Berlin alumni (Carré Mobility, Co-Tasker, EarthCare.ai, muffintech, Tether (Techstars '23), wehave - Techstars '23, dehaze, Bruin, VOIDS, hexafarms, enzum, LinkByCar, Riverse, Trudenty), they engaged in one-on-one meetings with a group of 60+ top European  #DeepTech investors. ✨ Hello Tomorrow last week was awesome! There’s something about the deep tech community that just stands out. It’s not just the groundbreaking technologies or the ambitious projects; it’s the people. As regulars at the Hello Tomorrow Summit, we’ve come to expect nothing less than brilliance, but last week’s event that transformed Paris into a buzzing hive of the world's foremost deep tech luminaries, founders, investors, and industrialists truly exceeded expectations. 🔥 Within this week we: - Benjamin Tincq led a panel on critical minerals with Julia Davourie(Convergent Ventures), Eric Dusseux (Breakthrough Energy Ventures), and Lilian Schwich (cylib) - Hosted amazing breakfast event with over 100 attendees in collaboration with Kiko Ventures - Had a great time attending side events from Contrarian Ventures daphni Extantia Toyota Ventures Fifty Years DCVC Climate Salad Norrsken VC EQT Ventures Vsquared Ventures TOMORROW DeepTechXL Positron Ventures - Enjoyed pitches from tozero Robeauté Jurata Thin Film and were delighted to see the amazing women leading those hard tech companies! - The deeptech ecosystem still has a long way to go - from strenghtening collaboration between startups with large industrials, to having more capital to deploy for #FOAK, to ensuring the right practical advices for scientist-founders at the early stages. But building Marble, and seeing our portfolio companies in action - pitching, hiring and fundraising - was the best testament of what we have been doing…and ought to do more. 🌟 Exciting Opportunities from Global Accelerator Hub Night! 🚀 Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the Global Accelerator Hub Night, as part of SusHi Tech Tokyo. This event brought together a dynamic group of international #startups and #accelerators, providing a fantastic platform for #networking and #collaboration. During the event, I had the opportunity to meet many potential business leads and explore several synergetic projects. The enthusiasm and innovative spirit were palpable, and it was inspiring to see so many groundbreaking ideas in one place. One of the key highlights for me was discussing the role of Asian-African Chamber of Commerce & Industry Japan in assisting overseas startups aiming to enter the Japanese market. With the current economic climate, particularly the weak yen, there are significant opportunities for foreign businesses. The favorable exchange rate makes Japan an attractive destination for investment and expansion, offering cost-effective entry points and potential for high returns. Japan's market is known for its technological advancements and consumer sophistication, making it a fertile ground for innovative solutions. #AACCI Japan is dedicated to supporting these startups not only in navigating the market but also in addressing their funding needs.
