This evening at #ASMS2024, Panome Bio CSO Gary Patti is receiving the Biemann Medal at the plenary session from 4:45-5:30 pm and give a talk titled "Embracing the unknown: metabolomics and beyond". The Biemann Medal is awarded to an individual early in their career in recognition of significant achievement in basic or applied mass spectrometry. In the article about the award, the American Society For Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) noted some of Dr. Patti's major contributions in metabolomics: 1. “Credentialing” mass spectrometry ions of biological relevance. 2.
