Sci-Tech Daresbury has signed an exciting new partnership agreement with LYVA Labs and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC The new memorandum of understanding (MoU) supports collaboration between the organisations to increase innovation investment and growth opportunities in the Liverpool City Region. The agreement allows the partners to collaborate on technical projects, programmes, R&D consultancy, investor engagement, and cluster development. It will also identify skills and resource availability and highlight training opportunities for local innovators and entrepreneurs. 👏 I’m very much looking forward to a new series of standing ovations during the upcoming STRN Summit, 18-20 Sept at the iconic Wintercircus Ghent.   😜 Those who attended the 2022 edition, remember that after every talk or session, we offered the speaker(s) a standing ovation instead of a normal applause (obviously resulting in everybody standing for a while + showing our respect and sharing our gratitude). I could not imagine a better way to celebrate the end of my Master's degree in #businessanalytics at Hult International Business School ! May I introduce my teammates - Giovanni Ghedini, Masaya Inoue, Gabriel Chouraqui, Zineb Kaoukab and Alessio Morgantini - together we won Prof Michael de la Maza, PhD final #businesschallenge in corporation with Aliz Bene, Balint Bene and bene : studio. To reach the goal of determining #successcriteria of early-stage MedTech startups, we established 3 different approaches - the logical, the research based and the computer analytical approach. Through #eda, #marketresearch, #datavisualization and #machinelearning, we established a #predictivemodel that helps bene : studio to evaluate potential business partners. This challenge provided a valuable opportunity to showcase the hard and soft skills I've acquired over the past few months. Our incredible team's collaborative spirit was the key to conquering this challenge - a clear proof that working with great people can unlock even greater results! 🚀 The journey to $1M begins here! 🏆 From Campus Qualifiers to Global Finals, the Hult Prize competition challenges the world's brightest minds to create impact. 🌍 Ready to change the world? Steps to the prize: 1️⃣ Pre-Events: The journey begins with Community-Based Events and Entrepreneurship-Based Events, which are designed to engage students in workshops, networking, and idea development. 2️⃣ On-Campus: Teams within university compete in an internal competition, starting with On-Campus Semi-Finals, where they present their innovative ideas. The best teams then advance to the On-Campus Grand Finale, where the winner team is selected to represent their university at the next stage. 3️⃣Summits: Winning teams from On-Campus events, along with those from the Open Application, compete at Global Summits. Here, they network, compete, and fight for a spot in the global semifinals. 4️⃣ Global Accelerator: The top 16 teams move on to an intense 6-8 week Accelerator program, receiving mentorship from industry experts to fine-tune their ideas, scale their business models, and prepare for the global stage. 5️⃣ Global Finals: After the accelerator, the final 6 teams compete in the Global Finals.
