On the occasion of the Città Impresa Festival in Bergamo, where Patrizia Micucci, Founder and Senior Partner of NB Aurora, will participate this afternoon in the debate "Can Italian Manufacturing Remain Competitive in the New Global Scenario?" made an appeal to the government to establish a "technical task force" aimed at addressing the real needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of Made in Italy. A crucial issue is the shortage of capital, which hampers their growth. Micucci also called on the government and institutions to launch initiatives to elevate the social perception of artisan professions, which are essential to the Made in Italy brand but are in sharp decline, to make them more attractive to young people. She suggested ideas and proposals to help achieve this goal. Patrizia Micucci, NB Aurora #NBAurora #FestivalCittàImpresa #PatriziaMicucci

Discover why #Onil is a benchmark for MANUFACTURING4ALL! 🎯 This charming municipality in the Valencian Community is renowned for its rich tradition in crafting toys, notably the famed 'Muñecas de Onil'—a legacy dating back to 1870, thanks to the innovation of Ramón Mira Vidal. However, today it faces challenges in its toy industry, impacting its economic and demographic stability. In its early days #Onil pioneered the use and application of new technologies to streamline and perfect its production methods. It managed to be innovative and become a national benchmark in toy production. Although nowadays the industry has adopted a descendent tendence, the toy industry of Onil is an example of how innovation and digital knowledge and competences can revolutionize the economic. 🚀🧸 🚀 Manufacturing 4 All sees #Onil as a symbol of the importance of preserving and revitalizing traditional industries. This European project focuses on transforming municipalities through digital education and fostering entrepreneurship. Acknowledging Onil's rich history in the toy industry, Manufacturing 4 All aims to support the revival of this artisanal tradition. Join us in preserving Onil's heritage and strengthening its industry for future generations! 📎For more information about the project click here: www.manufacturing4all.eu 💡The project is led by #Onil Town Council during its 14-month duration. We’re on 🚀 ITU Global Innovation Forum has brought together the digital innovation community to Malta. My favourite moments from this morning’s Ministerial Round Table and thoughts I’ll hold for inspiration in my work: 🎯H.E. Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani of Nigeria saw innovation is an opportunity to bridge the gap between citizens and government and rebuild trust, to create jobs and lift the economy. We need to increase investment in infrastructure but also in innovation, he said, as local innovation capabilities are critical infrastructure to re-energize economies. 🎯H.E. Ms Laurence NDONG of Gabon summarized it beautifully - without digitalizaiton, our economy will not advance to provide for better futures for our people. 🎯H.E. Ms Jocelle Batapa-Sigue of the Philippines spoke about DIWA - digital innovation for women advancement – enabling women to take new roles and jobs in technology. She also emphasized the importance of international collaboration in digital development – saying that no country should be an island and we all have a lot to learn from each other. 🎯H.E. Ms Marsha Caddle of Barbados shared her perspective that governments shouldn’t focus on technology to technology’s sake but create sandboxes to new ways to understand and solve development problems. And Barbados is doing it! 🎯H.E. Ms Agnė Vaiciukevičiūtė, PhD of Lithuania offered Lithuania’s experience in mainstreaming regulatory sandboxes to test drive digital innovation, recognizing that initial funding needs to be identified but calling on stakeholders to save no effort to set up experimental spaces. 🎯 On the same note, H.E. Ms Enkelejda Muçaj of Albania spoke to the importance of legal and regulatory frameworks that not only allow digital innovation but importantly, actively facilitate its inception and spread. 🎯H.E. Ms Nancy Caruana of Malta made a strong case for leveraging the country’s small size to capitalize on digital innovation and investment to lead the way in emerging technology development globally. I believe this insight can be truly valuable for Small Island Development States (SIDS). 🎯H.E. Mr Mondli Gungubele of South Africa said that digital innovation gives hope that there is a chance for emerging countries to get to the top. So inspiring. 🎯H.E. Ms Nthati Moorosi of Lesotho emphasized that digital public infrastructure can bridge the urban-rural digital divides, enhance public service delivery. Collaboration across sector is critical with this regard. Ms Moorosi also said she wishes we could have a global monitoring of where everyone is – good news, ITU has done it! Check comments below. If you missed the Forum, it’s not too late to enjoy it on your own time https://lnkd.in/esDa3qgn *the above are curated insights and not direct quotes. the post reflects my own views #DigitalInnovation #GIFMalta2024 #DigitalDevelopment #Collaboration #PublicSectorInnovation #SIDS

Here below the interview of NB Aurora’s Co-founder and Senior Partner Patrizia Micucci with Corriere della Sera which appeared in this week's L'Economia insert. In the article she says that in Italy there are many SMEs that are world leaders in their niche markets, exporting almost all their production, led by great entrepreneurs who need growth capital investments. Those who invest in these companies are offered great business opportunities and can contribute to strengthening the backbone of the Italian economy. However, new ideas and initiatives are needed to enhance the profile and appeal of the artisanal and technical know-how that represents one of the most precious legacies of Made in Italy and today is at risk. This includes - why not? - television shows such as Masterchef. Patrizia Micucci, Raffaella Polato, Corriere della Sera #GrowthCapital #MadeinItaly #PMI

I had the privilege of meeting with the President of ACIMIT Marco Salvadè, Italy's prestigious association of textile machinery manufacturers. Our discussion opened the door to an exhilarating opportunity for synergy between ACIMIT and the Polish Textille Association, where I serve as Director. 🤝 Collaboration is on the Horizon: We are exploring collaborative ventures to create specialized training programs for Polish textile professionals. This initiative aims to enhance skills and foster innovation within our industry, ensuring that Polish textile manufacturers continue to excel on the global stage. 🏭 Support for Polish Manufacturers: In addition to training, we discussed potential support mechanisms for Polish textile producers, aiming to integrate cutting-edge Italian machinery and technologies. This support would not only boost productivity but also enhance the quality and competitiveness of Polish textiles. 💡 Why This Matters: This partnership will not only bridge knowledge and technology gaps but also fortify the textile industry in both countries. By leveraging ACIMIT's expertise and the innovation-driven ethos of Polish manufacturers, we are setting the stage for a new era of textile excellence. 🌍 Looking Forward: Stay tuned as we finalize the details of this promising collaboration. The future is bright, and together, we are weaving a tapestry of success in the textile industry. #TextileIndustry #Innovation #Collaboration #OITM2024 #PolishTextiles #ACIMIT #TrainingAndDevelopment#włókiennictwo #ITM #Istanbul #współpraca #stowarzyszenie #włókiennictwo
