Today, September 13, marks World Sepsis Day. In Europe alone, more than one person dies from sepsis every minute. Of the 2.8 million survivors, 75% are left with long term health effects.¹ Antibiotics are crucial for preventing and treating sepsis, yet their effectiveness is threatened by antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
