Today is the last part of this serie and I would like to get some feedback from you.

What scary things have you found in regard to your health? What are you doing to overcome those things?

During my own health journey, a thing that scared me and almost get me crazy is not to get the right diagnosis. Many women struggle with this, because in our medical system, women issues are considered as just emotional or a product of lack of attention.

Myself, I dealt with a chronic condition for several years because no one could figure out what I had 😪

The compartmentalization and specialization in Medicine have result, in my perspective, in a limited view of human body.

Even if you are a man, sometimes you can also deal with this.

I wasn´t the problem.

Supposedly, doctors work in team, but in my experience, each one of them work individually and they usually disagree what other tells, like an "EGO" thing 🤨

It was until I met a person who teach me to see the forest 🌳🌳 not just the tree 🌳 that my problems made sense. It wasn´t just one thing, but several, then I had to repaired all of these.

Have to say that myself, I also had to learn to domain MY OWN EGO 😏

Another great tool I found is Precision Medicine. This helped me to prove in a scientific way, that my symptoms have a reason.

But as I learned, if you don´t test, you might guess 💭

Misdiagnosis is a BIG challenge

During all this time, I was positive about to find an explanation and a solution. It was not a "magic pill" 💊 or an easy solution, but I got it. (Actually I never asked for a pill 🤫)

Sometimes, I was in fear and THAT IS NORMAL. But what drove me all this time is to EMBRACE LIFE 🤗

What does exactly mean?

  • To live in the present moment. For me, it wasn´t easy at the beginning, but then I could learn it
  • Don´t go to past again and again. Yes, you and the others could make some mistakes but then, you can´t move to the future if you stay there
  • Forgive those who hurted you (most of the time is not with purpose) in some way and be grateful about the people who helped you 🙌
  • Accept that changes are part of life but also make positive changes if your situation demands
  • Count your blessings and keep perspective
  • If you have to chance to live one more day, make that day counts. Each day is an opportunity to improve your health
  • If you fail in the process, recognize that failure is also part of success 😉
