Gratitude

Gratitude

There is a phrase that often comes to mind:

"It's not a problem that the whining doesn't increase"

This phrase is important to me, because I tend to complain when things get tough, and that doesn't really help, in fact it just gets in the way.

If complaining about things gets in the way, the reverse can help, being grateful can make the day better and turn a bad day into a learning opportunity.

I have learned that entrepreneurs are naturally optimistic people and, in a certain way, face life lightly, believing that things will work out.

In one of my recent conversations, already mentioned here on LinkedIn, I remember asking about the difficulties in relation to the government and/or the market, and the answer was a great lesson:

- I focus on what I can control, I dance to the music.

And now thinking about it, I believe that “BEING GRATEFUL”, showing gratitude to people, God, life and opportunities is something that we “CONTROL”, no matter how confusing or difficult a situation may seem, there will always be something to be grateful for.

This week I read the following popular refrain from the 1940s:

A popular refrain from the 1940s captured the thought:

“Accentuate the positive;

Eliminate the negative.

Stick to the affirmative;

Don't mess with Mr. Intermediary"

It was good advice at the time, and it remains good advice now.

I believe that having a grateful mind at all times can open up new opportunities in the most different areas of our lives, especially in the world of business and entrepreneurship, because no one likes to be next to a person who complains all day long, who never is satisfied and who cannot see the beauty in simple things, while people who radiate happiness and who even going through challenging times manage to extract the best from life are pleasant, gather other pleasant people around them and make good things happen.
