The Law of Elite Performance

The Law of Elite Performance

Have you ever heard of the Law of Elite Health & Performance?

Well it’s not an official law and you won’t get a fine for breaking it…

But you will pay with a lack of ROI for your wasted time and energy.

Are you ready for the law?

You can’t have ELITE health and performance with substandard habits.

It’s like my 1 year old daughter trying to race my 3 year old daughter

One is just so much more advanced, skillful and automatic with the process of running vs a baby just learning to walk.

(Plus I don’t think my eldest would let anyone win a race, regardless of who it is haha)

Some examples of substandard habits include:

- making empty promises to yourself

- fuelling your body with junk food

- drinking too much

- not working on your health & fitness to boost performance

- winging your day without any sort of plan

- no self reflection on your goals or performance

- binge watching Netflix or scrolling social media

- procrastinating on important projects

- neglecting your relationships

- watching the news first thing in the morning

I’m sure we could go on for hours with the list…

(let me ask - what would you add?)

Now, you don’t need to change everything on the list above in one foul swoop.

That would be setting yourself up for failure.

Instead pick one thing MAX per week and work on it until it becomes automatic.

This may be faster working with someone to keep you accountable , but either way plan to be patient and give it the time to bed in properly before tackling too much more.

With most of my top tier executive clients, we focus on getting them moving better and making better food choices - without a need for it to be perfect from the get go.

One thing at a time until it becomes automatic…. like my 3 year olds competitive mindset 🤣

And when you get this process nailed, it’s like my 1 year old taking sprint lessons from Usain Bolt.

Suddenly now it’s a fairer fight.

So stop doing the things that are holding you back.

Pick smaller chunks that will deliver big results and watch the results skyrocket.
