Leading Edge Change - The Way of Today

Leading Edge Change - The Way of Today

Are you leading Change or is change dragging you by your ear. I often find myself speaking with executives that are the most change-averse people in their entire companies. This is a major concern to me. I cannot understand how some can expect to lead their company in this generation of high-speed change while constantly trying to do business as usual.

This belief that we can do things the way we always have and still be relevant in the market is a company limiting belief. What is even more concerning at this time is the belief that you can create a leading edge product or even provide great service with a self-limiting internal methodology.

It is not about being leading edge, but you must at least be a 1st wave change organization to grow and influence your market and field.

If you are comfortable being Good, I wish you the best, but please keep your "Best Practices" to yourself. because like your relevance to the market the impact is diminishing every day.

We want to learn from those willing to be GREAT. It is the mindset of the leading edge that will be the mainstream of tomorrow. The cutting edge of today is the norm of tomorrow. We want to adopt the thinking of the leading edge so that our influence and relevance will continue to grow, not the beliefs of the current mainstream who will only create clones of adequacy in the market.

Cutting Edge Leaders we need you lead, 1st Wave Leaders of Change we need you to lead, Change-averse leaders we need you to LEARN and ADAPT. Because this is the ERA of Change.  The question is not if you will change but when. Change is the only thing that is certain.....

Leaders on the cutting edge are considered relevant - CHANGE is by definition always constant in the equation.
