Improving data accuracy and streamlining publishing workflows 🔧

As part of the Kriyadocs Klicks universe (our growing collection of third-party integrations with best-in-class tools and systems), we entered into a strategic collaboration with CCC to enhance publishing workflows.

We are collaborating with CCC to integrate their Ringgold Identify Database into our end-to-end scholarly publishing platform. This partnership will enable publishers to enhance data accuracy and streamline their publishing workflows. By incorporating Ringgold’s trusted organization identifiers and metadata, the Kriyadocs Unified Publishing Ecosystem (UPE) will ensure precise, up-to-date organization data, boost workflow efficiency, and foster seamless global collaboration.

🔹 Scopus celebrates 20 years of innovation and excellence

Scopus marks its 20th anniversary on November 3, 2024, celebrating two decades of empowering researchers, scholars, and institutions worldwide. Since its launch in 2004, Scopus has provided access to comprehensive scholarly literature, citation data, and advanced analytics tools.

🔹 SSP launches Mental Health Awareness and Action Community of Interest Group

The Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) has launched the Mental Health Awareness and Action Community of Interest (CoIN) Group, following the work of the SSP Mental Health Task Force. This initiative, born from a series of important discussions on mental health in scholarly publishing, will support community members by fostering awareness and action. The CoIN will be co-led by Randy Townsend and Jennifer Regala, providing a compassionate space for professionals to engage in open conversations with respect and understanding.

🔹 cOAlition S releases independent study on Plan S impact

cOAlition S has released an independent study on the impact of Plan S, five years after its launch. The study, conducted by scidecode science consulting, highlights the success of Plan S in advancing Open Access and encouraging its inclusion in policymakers’ agendas. The study also underscores the importance of the rights retention strategy and its role in the rise of Diamond Open Access.
