What does the electricity grid of the future look like? Learn all about it during the third lecture of our System Integration Series in collaboration with RWE. Using the OranjeWind insights, the series looks at various aspects of system integration. And during the next lecture Thomas Aksan and Balthasar Klimbie will discuss the electricity grid of the future. We are pleased to introduce these TenneT experts to you. 🟡 Thomas is Program Manager at TenneT, where he works on the development of Target Grid, TenneT's vision for a carbon-neutral electricity grid by 2045. With over 20 years of experience in the energy transition, he has played a key role in developing policies on topics such as offshore wind energy and system integration. 🟡 Balthasar is Senior Policy Advisor at TenneT and an innovative problem solver driven by a desire to contribute to a sustainable world. With over 25 years of experience across diverse roles—ranging from managing multidisciplinary teams and serving as Vice President of an international industry organisation to advising on sustainability—he has worked in national and international contexts, spanning commercial, NGO, and government sectors in both small and large organisations. His extensive experience enables him to understand different perspectives, incorporate them into solutions, and achieve goals effectively.
