  • Vinotherapy 🍷   It’s January and although we’re a nation of wine drinkers (60% apparently), this month usually means for some people an attempt to go alcohol free for as long as they can. But wine in particular it seems has not always been made to drink. Bathing in actual wine or champagne was and still is very much the ‘thing’ to do. Known as ‘vinotherapy’, a therapeutic treatment of the skin using wine. Wine baths in France have been popular through the ages and even today there are several ‘wine spas’ you can visit and have a soak in. These wine baths are perfect for relaxation and treating skin conditions like eczema. It might be dry January but maybe there is more than one way to enjoy the vino this month.   #vinotherapy #winetherapy #dryjanuary #alcoholfree #healthyliving #winelovers

  • RDP is celebrating 20 years of growing brands in agriculture and to mark the occasion, we’re going big with an extra special giveaway. We’re fortunate enough to be based on Park Mill Farm, a secluded and tranquil 20-acre smallholding with the best that nature has to offer. What better way to celebrate our 20th anniversary than offering a lucky winner the chance to win a two-night stay in beautiful secluded Stable Cottage? If you want some ‘you’ time away from the busyness of modern life, there’s no better place. To be in with a chance to win and experience a little bit of bliss: Simply follow us on LinkedIn or Instagram, and send us a direct message saying ‘WIN’. The winner will be drawn at random on 31st March 2025. Good luck!

  • Working remotely is great, and it means we've been able to recruit top talent from further afield. We all meet every other month for our great team days at the Hub, but every now and again it's nice to meet on a 1-to-1 basis for specific projects. Being able to use facilities like the The Growth Hub Gloucestershire is really helpful and a lovely environment to work in. Great coffee too! #MarketingTeam #GrowthHub #RemoteWork #KnowledgeSharing #TeamWork

  • A winter hat with history...   Now that we are fully immersed in ‘winter’ and January is one of the coldest months, seeing all kinds of winter hats adorning heads is nothing unusual for this time of year. In particular the ladies at RDP tend to favour the humble pom-pom or bobble hat.   This type of hat has a history and an interesting one at that.   The pom-pom hat can be traced back as far as 790 AD in Scandinavia, during the Viking era. In 1904, a significant discovery of a statue of the Viking god Freyr, was unearthed on a farm Rällinge in Lunda, Sweden. The Viking god was shown wearing a helmet type hat with a pom-pom on it.   It was during the 19th century that French sailors elevated the popularity of the pom-pom hats using them to cushion and protect their heads in confined spaces, with the pom poms designed to prevent injuries from low ceilings or beams on ships.

We’ll be wearing ours now knowing the fascinating history attached to it. #WinterHatHistory #HistoricHeadwear #JanuaryCold #ChillyJanuary #HatEnthusiast

  • RDP is 20! Thank you to all of our clients who have trusted us to help grow their businesses. We wouldn’t be the agency we are today without the valuable partnerships we have built and the things we have learned from each other. And of course, we can’t forget to thank our amazing team of creative and strategic thinkers who always support each other and go the extra mile because they believe in what we’re building. We can’t wait to see what happens next as we continue to welcome more forward-thinking and ambitious agri brands on board. Here’s to the next 20 years 🥂

  • It’s a busy time of year both from a work perspective and a home one. Rushing to meet project deadlines, rushing to get Christmas presents - it’s an endless cycle of frenetic activity before we all stop…finally take a big sigh and relax.   Whilst it all feels very serious and important right now, let’s take a moment and remember to laugh amidst the craziness at this time of year after all Christmas should be about bringing a sense of joy.   Sharing this to bring about a Monday smile:   #ChristmasHustle #HolidayRush #FestiveFrenzy #BusySeason #WorkHardPlayHard #StressfulSeason #JingleAllTheWay #TaskOverload #TisTheSeasonToBeBusy
