With the festive period well and truly upon us, the RDP team will be taking a well-earned break. Before we do though, we wanted to share a video taken by Account Director Toby Aiken on the weekend of the Charity Christmas Tractor run through Cheltenham in support of Just4Children. Wishing you all a fantastic festive break and all the best for 2025! #AgriMarketing #Charity #FeelingFestive

Celebrating another productive year at RDP. We’re very grateful to work with our amazing clients and value the diverse range of creative projects we get to spend our time on. We’re also lucky to work in a team where everyone supports each other, recognises when one of us needs help without having to ask and ultimately a team that works incredibly hard. It’s a satisfying end to 2024 and we’re looking forward to what next year brings. Merry Christmas to you all. Christmas may be just around the corner, but at RDP we’re still out there delivering for clients. Amongst other things, this last week has seen our team orchestrating a number of photoshoots for the NFU so we thought we’d share a few behind the scenes pics. Keep an eye on the NFU’s channels for the reveal in 2025! #AgriMarketing #Photoshoot #OutOnFarm

It’s a busy time of year both from a work perspective and a home one. Rushing to meet project deadlines, rushing to get Christmas presents - it’s an endless cycle of frenetic activity before we all stop…finally take a big sigh and relax. Whilst it all feels very serious and important right now, let’s take a moment and remember to laugh amidst the craziness at this time of year after all Christmas should be about bringing a sense of joy. Sharing this to bring about a Monday smile: #ChristmasHustle #HolidayRush #FestiveFrenzy #BusySeason #WorkHardPlayHard #StressfulSeason #JingleAllTheWay #TaskOverload #TisTheSeasonToBeBusy

We’re looking forward to the RDP Christmas party next week, and a staple of the festivities is Secret Santa. It’s so much fun to see everyone get creative with a strict budget of £10. Thinking about Secret Santa got us wondering about where it originated from. A modern-day example was the philanthropist Larry Dean Stewart, who secretly gave $100 bills to people in Kansas for more than 25 years. After 9/11, he also donated $25,000 in $100 bills to New Yorkers. He didn’t reveal himself as the ‘Secret Santa’ until 2006, after years of speculation about who the mystery benefactor was. But the roots of where it all began go much further back, according to some sources. It’s thought that the tradition comes from Scandinavia in the 1700s, where there was a custom called ‘Julklapp’ which involved leaving gifts at people’s homes, then knocking on the doors and running away. We’re curious, what’s the best Secret Santa gift you ever received?

January can be grey and uninspiring, but not for us, as we look forward to celebrating our 20th anniversary 🙌 As the calendar page turns to January 1st, RDP will be celebrating 20 years of growing brands in agriculture. Keep an eye out for more 20th anniversary content as we reflect on two decades of being a part of the continuous evolution of an industry that touches so many different aspects of our lives.

Today is #WorldSoilDay and this year’s theme is ‘Caring for Soils: Measure, Monitor, Manage’. We wanted to take this chance to shine a light on the importance of soil health and post a #ThrowbackThursday to our MD Angus Chalmers' recent piece in Direct Driller, talking about soil health and #RegenerativeFarming. Read his thoughts here: https://lnkd.in/ePuw-vVZ #RegenerativeAgriculture #UKAgriculture #SoilHealth

This coming January, we’re going to be celebrating our 20th anniversary. In our two decades in the Ag marketing world, there have been plenty of challenges and changes. What has enabled us to continue to thrive and grow is our ability to forge and nurture lasting relationships. As well as bringing our agricultural knowledge and expertise to the table, we’ve focused on being a trusted partner to our clients and going the extra mile to make the magic happen. That’s why we’re still here, 20 years later, and we’re showing no signs of slowing down! Look out for more anniversary content coming soon as we celebrate 20 years of growing brands in agriculture.
