The project involves the participation of Energenius Srl | Maps Group, a subsidiary of Maps Group, along with another partner, the Industrial Electrical Consortium of Stenico (CEIS). Earth Day 2024: Stadler’s contribution for environmental protection   To preserve the environment for future generations, we are constantly reviewing how we can make our entire value chain more efficient in terms of resources, by placing the highest demands on ourselves as a company in order to promote a greener future through our products.   We also endeavour to use natural resources to produce and promote renewable energy and reduce the use of fossil fuels. Chairing the final plenary session of the day titled, "Towards 2030: Next Steps on the Energy Transition in GB and Europe" Richard Howard sparked an engaging debate between our expert panellists Ana Paula Marques, EDP Spain; As Tempelman, Eneco; Keith Anderson, ScottishPower; Olivia Breese, Ørsted. Some interesting takeaways: · Investor confidence in the GB market would benefit from a clearer roadmap for future renewable auctions · ‘Economists in dark rooms’ may say locational pricing is the optimal solution, but the practicalities of delivery will define how successful this model would be · ‘Right target, wrong year’ - whilst it is unlikely that European 2030 capacity targets will be met, the level of ambition is very promising #AuroraSpringForum #EnergyTransition #LocationalPricing

Last week, Senem Kathrin Güçlüer from our law firm participated in the country business lunch event organized by the German Embassy in Ankara, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Türkiye and Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye on the topic “Green Transformation”. During the event, Pauline Seyfert from Adlera Group hold a presentation about the most important steps to be taken in Türkiye towards decarbonization such as the most important technologies in terms of renewable energies, energy storage, smart electricity grids, energy efficiency measures and carbon capture & storage. At the WindEurope conference this year, we launched our joint paper with Ørsted that focuses on unlocking the potential of hybrid interconnectors.   Offshore hybrid projects involve linking two countries together via an interconnector at the same time as being connected to an offshore wind farm. These projects are crucial for securing Europe’s green energy transition – and yet, to date, only one such project has been realised: the Kriegers Flak-Combined Grid Solution, which links Germany to Denmark and was built by 50Hertz Transmission GmbH and Energinet. Our paper addresses the barriers standing in the way of unlocking the potential of such projects.   Our teams thoroughly enjoyed working with their peers in Orsted – they established a solid and collaborative relationship together. SolarDuck enters the Italian market in a landmark agreement with New Developments s.r.l. and Green Arrow Capital, celebrated at K.EY Energy in Rimini in the presence of Erling Hoem, Deputy Head of Mission to the Norwegian Embassy in Italy. SolarDuck has been selected as the exclusive technology partner for #Corigliano, a 540MWp hybrid offshore power plant which will feature a 120MWp #offshorefloatingsolar plant in the Gulf of Taranto, offshore #Calabria. Corigliano catapults offshore floating solar into grid scale, showcasing the potential of the technology in Italy and the wider #Mediterranean market.
