Ichilov Tech Announces Significant Strengthening of Its Angels Club and the Launch of the I-Next Health Accelerator to Promote Medical Technological Innovation Tel Aviv Medical Center Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov), one of the world’s leading institutions in health and innovation, is proud to announce the launch of the I-Next Health Accelerator (INHA) as part of the hospital's commitment to advancing medical care quality and technological innovation. The launch of the accelerator coincides with the joining of ILEX MEDICAL LTD, one of Israel's leading companies in laboratory diagnostics, as a cornerstone investor in the hospital’s Angels Club (I-Next Ventures), which was established a year ago with the support of Roche Israel. The investment by Ilex Medical is up to $5 million. The accelerator will provide selected startups with investment on favorable terms, resources, professional guidance, and a supportive clinical environment. MedTech Innovator is the largest and highest-performing accelerator of medical technology in the world and the medtech industry’s premiere showcase and competition for innovative medical devices, digital health, and diagnostic companies. 95% of their companies are still in business or have been acquired, raising 30% of the global private funding invested in Medtech last year. The 1st stage is an online application. Afterwards, they run the Medtech Innovator Road Tour where 200 out of 1,400 applicants are invited to participate in one of a series of pitch events. Strengthening the medtech landscape in Israel.

Dr. Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi, DCGI, CDSCO highlighted the importance of disseminating MedTech Mitra initiative’s progress among the public. He said “MedTech Mitra initiative has gained remarkable progress since its launch. This flagship initiative can introduce a paradigm shift in MedTech ecosystem from “volume to values of innovations”, to meet evolving healthcare needs. The initiative has a great potential towards making India a net exporter of medical devices and diagnostics.” Mission Director Atal Innovation Mission Dr. Chintan Vaishnav, highlighted the significance of the meeting during his address. He said, “The 20th MedTech Mitra TAC Meeting represents a crucial milestone in our ongoing effort to support MedTech innovators. By facilitating robust discussions and providing comprehensive guidance, we aim to drive impactful advancements in medical devices technology. Additionally, we are excited to unveil the 6th edition of Innovations for You, which celebrates the exceptional contributions of Indian innovators in Life Sciences and Biotechnology.” The meeting was followed by the launch of AIM’s 6th edition of ‘Innovations for You’ coffee table book.
