📢 Exciting Morning at Politecnico di Milano! Today, we had the privilege of presenting RECARBON’s innovative products and solutions at a #seminar focused on recycling and recycled carbon fiber. It was an incredible opportunity to share our vision for a sustainable future and how our patented technologies are driving change in the automotive, marine, and industrial sectors. With over 30,000 tons of carbon fiber waste generated annually, the importance of recycling has never been greater. At #RECARBON, we're committed to turning waste into value, allowing the market to produce components that are not only lightweight but also performant and sustainable. A big thank you to Politecnico di Milano in the person of Prof. Paolo Bettini for hosting us and to all the participants who engaged in discussions on the future of sustainability and advanced materials. Together, we’re shaping a cleaner, more sustainable world. It was also a pleasure for our Patrick Pacchetti and JOSE JORGE RODEA VALDES to be back "home"🏠! #RECARBON #Sustainability #RecycledCarbonFiber #Innovation #PolitecnicoDiMilano #CircularEconomy #AdvancedMaterials #EcoMaterials #GreenEconomy

We at Sirmax believe that the valorisation of sustainable materials can be a key building block in the transition to a more sustainable and circular economy. 🌍♻️ Bioplastics are the perfect example of a product innovation for rethinking the responsible use of resources. The EBC24 report confirms that global bioplastics production capacity continues to grow, driven in part by increasing consumer awareness of the environmental impact associated with overall plastic consumption. European Bioplastics Conference represents the interests of the bioplastics industry and is committed to building and strengthening a supportive policy environment in the EU for these kind of materials.🌱 And that's not all! Bioplastics are suitable for an increasing number of applications. 🗓️Visit us at stand 22 in the Titanic Hotel Berlin during the European Bioplastics, 10-11 December. 👉 Discover more about our sustainable approach https://lnkd.in/eZ-yMfJR #sirmax #proximitycompounding #europeanbioplastics #sustainable #sustainability #circulareconomy

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐔𝐁𝐈𝐂’𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 #1 At CUBIC, we’re making a significant impact on the circular economy by addressing the plastic waste crisis. Our innovative 3R-CANs technology and decentralized manufacturing approach are transforming the recyclability of thermoset materials, which currently end up in landfills or are incinerated. This boosts the circularity and recyclability of biobased thermoplastics, creating new, regenerated products and a disruptive value chain. As the global population is set to exceed 8.5 billion by 2030, reducing waste through prevention, reduction, reuse, and recycling is crucial. CUBIC's contribution helps minimize environmental impact, supports waste reduction, and aligns with the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We’re committed to eliminating dumping, reducing chemical use, and protecting natural ecosystems. CUBIC’s circular bioeconomy approach reduces plastic waste, minimizes environmental impact, and follows SSbD criteria, helping achieve EU targets by 2030 and supporting the Green Deal. Impressions of our colleagues Pauline Langbehn and Claus Mersch, together with our presentation partner Marvin Gornik from EurA AG, at the “Circularity Days 2024” in Wolfsburg, which concluded yesterday. 🌍👏 Marvin and Pauline delivered a joint presentation on “Lithium-ion batteries for e-mobility - How to support circularity with an LCA tool.” The presentation highlighted the advantages of using an LCA to evaluate circularity. The goal was to determine the impact that recycled materials, for example, have on the carbon footprint of a Lithium-ion battery. 🔋 They also demonstrated how this analysis can be performed using our software solution, iPoint Product Sustainability. 🌱 #CircularEconomy #Sustainability #eMobility #LCATools #CarbonFootprint #Recycling #GreenTech #Innovation

🌱⚡ Great session with the 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩, organized by Bayern Innovativ GmbH last week. Collaborating with experts from research and business, we discussed the pressing issue of sustainable electronics. But why should this matter to us? Here's a glimpse into some eye-opening research findings: 📈 Over 55% of greenhouse gas emissions stem from the extraction and processing of raw material resources (UNEP 2024) 🔄 The recycling rates for several critical materials crucial to the twin green & digital transition fall short of where they ought to be (IRP 2020) 🌍 With critical raw material supply often concentrated in certain regions, businesses face significant risks without embracing circular economy principles (Nordic Innovation 2023) Stay tuned for more to come!
