De Grey Mining (ASX: DEG) is a WA-based mining company growing one of Australia's most exciting new gold discoveries.

About us

De Grey Mining Limited (ASX: DEG) is a Western Australian gold explorer and project development company. The Company’s activities are focussed on the 100% owned Hemi Gold Project in the Pilbara region of WA. Here De Grey has made a large scale, high value, near surface gold discovery at an area called Hemi. The Hemi discovery is rapidly moving towards De Grey’s goal of defining a Tier 1 project with true district-scale potential. Mineralisation in the Hemi area has been identified over a large area and an 10.5 million ounce mineral resource was released in November 2023. The discovery remains open in multiple directions. The total Hemi Project Mineral Resource is now 12.7 million ounces. De Grey’s recent focus on expanding Hemi means many prospective targets remain untested throughout the wider Hemi Project area. High priority targets are being progressively drill tested.

  • 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗴𝗮: 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗺𝗶’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲   Recent infill grade control drilling at the Brolga deposit has delivered exceptional results, enhancing our ore production and plant feed planning for Hemi’s future commissioning and ramp-up phases.   Around 60% of assays have been received from a program which increased drilling density in the area where mining will start. This drilling will support a Mineral Resource Upgrade next month and is expected to elevate the first-year of production to a JORC Measured status.   The first year of production at Brolga comprises 9.9Mt @ 1.65g/t Au for 525koz of gold, aligning with our Definitive Feasibility Study.   Our General Manager Exploration, Phil Tornatora, commented: “It is great to see these solid intercepts returned from the infill grade control drilling at Brolga. While not surprising considering the results of previous drilling, it confirms the quality of the Brolga orebody. Many of these holes intersect wide, continuous zones of mineralisation directly beneath the transported cover, where ore production will commence. This drilling continues our strategy of building operational readiness across the business as we await final environmental approvals and a final investment decision for Hemi.”   Read the full announcement here: https://bit.ly/48GMl9f #DeGreyMining #DEG #HemiGoldProject #GoldExploration #Mining #ASX

We had the pleasure of hosting the team at the Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce Inc (PHCCI) at our Wingina Camp yesterday. It was an exciting opportunity to give the team a tour of our facilities, showcasing our exploration process. During the visit, our Community and Social Performance team took them on a tour of Hemi, allowing them to see its size and scale, as well as where the proposed infrastructure would be. This included a visit to a drill rig, providing an opportunity for them to observe our operations in action and engage with the drillers to address any questions they had. The team also visited the core yard, where we demonstrated the processing of core samples after they are extracted from the ground. Shane Boladeras delivered a presentation on the Hemi Gold Project, highlighting the numerous benefits it will not only bring to the Port Hedland community, but to the overall state and national economies. It was a fantastic experience and we were grateful for the opportunity to host the team from the PHCCI. #DEG #HemiGoldProject #SiteTour #CommunityEngagement #PHCCI

This milestone forms part of the binding Heads of Agreement with Novo Resources Corp for the Egina Project, which comprises a significant 1,034km² tenement package adjacent to our existing Hemi Gold Project.   Key Highlights: - De Grey has satisfied its initial $7 million minimum expenditure commitment at the Egina Project. - The Company now has the right to earn a 50% joint venture interest in the Egina tenements by investing an additional $18 million by June 30, 2027. - Significant exploration work completed, including 34,180m of aircore drilling, 9,129m of RC drilling, and a drone magnetic survey across key prospects. - Initial gold results include:  - 6m @ 1.2g/t Au at Heckmair    - 4m @ 2.1g/t Au at Irvine    - 8m @ 4.7g/t Au at Lowe   Phil Tornatora, General Manager Exploration, commented:  “The Egina Project is an important part of De Grey’s strategy to grow a large Regional scale resource base around the planned Hemi processing plant. The Egina tenements are approximately 1,000km² and significantly grows the land position De Grey has exposure to around Hemi. Egina contains major structures and geological units which extend from Hemi and is prospective for both large intrusion-hosted deposits like Hemi and orogenic gold deposits. Large prospective areas of the Egina Project have not been explored so we believe the area still has exciting potential.”   Read the full announcement here: https://bit.ly/4gZn5OT   #DeGreyMining #DEG #HemiGoldProject #EginaProject #GoldExploration #Mining #ASX
