About us

The EU-funded project REDDIE aims to introduce real-world and synthetic data in regulatory advice and/or health-technology assessments to supplement data from randomised controlled trials (RCTs). This will significantly assist decision-making processes and boost the rapid evaluation of the safety, efficacy and cost-effectiveness of drugs and digital health devices related to diabetes.

📢 As part of the #EuroDURG conference that takes place 1-4 July 2025 in Uppsala, Sweden, More-EUROPA is organising a satellite program on Real-world Data to Support Regulatory Decision Making on the 1st of July. 📖 In the satellite program, several examples of studies performed in the context of the More-EUROPA project will be discussed. The satellite program can be attended by registrants of the EuroDURG conference, but there is also a possibility to register for the satellite program only, without attending the conference. 👀 Yesterday, we had our virtual pre-progress meeting. A pre-progress meeting served to share updates from each work package before the 2nd progress meeting in person. We went through all the technical and administrative aspects of each WP and suggested the topics to discuss when we meet in person next week in Padua. Earlier this month, as part of the MetReal cluster, we were at the Multi-Stakeholder Workshop on real-world data in regulatory and HTA decision-making in Bonn. Organised by Real4Reg in collaboration with other MetReal cluster projects –Insafedare Project, More-EUROPA, ONCOVALUE and REALM_EU, the workshop brought together different stakeholders, including representatives from regulatory and HTA agencies, academia, the European Commission, industry, patient organisations, payers, and key initiatives focused on advancing the use of RWD in Europe. #REDDIE consortium representatives Julia Mader, Martina Radanović, Pratik Choudhary and Amanda Adler were present at the event and participated in valuable discussions that will help shape the outcomes of our project. By continuing to work together, we can unlock the full potential of #RWD in generating high-quality #RWE, guiding regulatory frameworks, and strengthening the competence of researchers and stakeholders.
