Women have played a key role in scientific discovery, driving innovation in global health. A collection of papers from ACS Infectious Diseases aims to recognise women corresponding authors with highly cited publications and major impacts on the field. Along with compiling these articles into the Collection, the journal invited the authors to share with readers their personal stories on choosing and becoming infectious diseases researchers. I had the privilege to contribute and share my journey, insights, and advice for aspiring scientists. https://lnkd.in/entSaFy5 https://lnkd.in/eDf3dx27

Engaging key stakeholders, including clinical staff, families, communities, patient groups and industry partners, is vital to the successful implementation of adaptive clinical trials, especially those targeting very vulnerable populations like newborns with #sepsis.
