This role focuses on governance, resource mobilization, and health financing. 🌍 Community Health Workers (CHWs) are The Unsung Heroes in Gender Based Violence Response. Meet Salome Ong'or and Juliah Wairimu, two dedicated CHWs from Kenya making a difference in the fight against GBV. CHWs play a critical role in: ✅ Helping survivors find reporting mechanisms. ✅ Providing counseling and attending to physical injuries. ✅ Raising awareness in communities to prevent GBV. 💬 "We need to strengthen facilities and provide training so survivors can access the care they need," says Juliah. Gender-based violence affects everyone—including men.
