Dragon’s Den at HMP Forest Bank breathes life into inspired business ideas 💡 The inspirational entrepreneur, James Sundin, led a fantastic Dragons Den session at HMP Forest Bank in Manchester this week, where he was joined by Tom Critten of Sony Music Entertainment and four other Dragons, as well as business leaders from a further 10 companies, including Ingeus, KPMG, Wates and Squosh Compacting Company. Kicking off the session with an impactful talk, James Sundin - an extraordinary visionary and co-founder of Represent Global, who joined Key4Life for his third Dragons Den - shared his remarkable story of entrepreneurial achievement. He encouraged the men that they all had the capacity to create successful businesses, no matter what their past. 🗝️ The young men came up with some brilliant business ideas, including a car parking app, a barbering business, a sunbed company, a fitness brand, and a charity supporting young people addicted to cocaine. Huge thanks to James Sundin and all the Dragons and business leaders who supported this inspiring session. And big thanks to Aaron, Renardo, Richard, Ashleigh, Joey and all the mighty Key4Life team. 👏 BBC , KPMG , R.E.P.R.E.S.E.N.T , Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd , Wates Group Gallaway Construction Limited , O’Neill & Brennan UK , VINCI , Murraywood Construction Ltd , Bibby Financial Services , Sodexo , Intuitive Thinking Skills , Costain Group PLC , Ingeus , John Sisk & Son Ltd , Mitie #workshop #business #companies #charity #change #whatif #younited

Meet kevin scutt, one of our Course Coordinators who turned his challenges into empowerment💪 🔘 Kevin had his first experience with alcohol when he was 12 years old, a curious experiment that quickly became a significant part of his life. 🔘 Whilst in school, Kevin decided to complete a two weeks work experience in undertaking. This was followed by a 14-year career, and although it was a challenging job, it gave him a unique perspective on life and death. 🔘 Over time, alcohol became Kevin’s coping mechanism, easing the stresses of his job while also concealing deeper issues he was facing. After going through a divorce and losing custody of his children, Kevin says his drinking was becoming a ‘survival tactic’ that continued for several years. 🔘 After being admitted into a hospital, Kevin was determined to change and enrolled in our Intuitive Recovery programme, which he described as a turning point in his life. Kevin was inspired by the passion shown by Matt Wilson, who delivered the course at the time, and decided that one day he would love to have that same job too. The course taught Kevin how to understand the underlying reasons for his alcohol use and equipped him with the tools to manage his cravings. 🔘 Today, Kevin works with Intuitive Thinking Skills. He now looks at his past with a sense of pride, recognising how every challenge helped him grow and become more resilient. 🔗To read Kevin's full story, click here: https://zurl.co/1Kc2

Meet David Bremner, our Ambassador Programme Lead in Portsmouth🌱 🔘 David grew up in Doncaster with his parents and three siblings. Early on, he embraced the role of the ‘class clown’ in school but soon fell into substance use, which at the time he believed gave him a sense of belonging. By the time Dave was a teenager, he was deeply involved with drugs, leading to poor academic performance. 🔘 At 16, Dave faced the consequences of his drug use, lost different jobs and became homeless. Despite the challenges, he found support within the homeless community and eventually entered rehab through a court order, realising the need for change. However, he struggled with compliance and faced setbacks. 🔘 After a lengthy recovery journey, which included several rehab stints and finding stability in family life, Dave became a father to two daughters. This new role, despite its challenges, fuelled his determination to overcome past struggles. 🔘 A turning point came when Dave embraced a career in support work, focusing on mental health and substance misuse. Today, Dave leads an Ambassador Programme at Intuitive Thinking Skills, where he feels valued and fulfilled, creating opportunities for others. 💬Dave said: “All my experiences led me to this role. I love the impact we make and the difference we bring to people's lives. It’s been a transformative journey, and I’m grateful for every step.” 🔗To read Dave’s full story, click here: https://zurl.co/9Lnd
