Today was the all day annual LEMAC conference hosted at SAIT. Our very own Rysen Jordan, Associate Dean of Energy at SAIT welcomed 230 guests at the Irene Lewis atrium and MacDonald hall. A big thank you to LEMAC’s Deb Watson! We appreciate SAIT’s 27 EAM 2nd year students who assisted and volunteered throughout the event. Lots of inspiration from guest speaker Gina Botelho to kick off the morning by unlocking the power of emotional intelligence! High end educational breakout sessions throughout the day discussing various energy topics. Chamber of Commerce president Deborah Yedlin provided an insightful discussion about the aftermath of the US election. Some informative exhibits from 7 companies. Great food from Hotel Arts and key networking throughout the day. Industry and SAIT is a welcome opportunity for Energy Asset Management students forging their careers in Energy. Kudos and Blessings to all who attended! 😊

Thank you Deb Watson, CPMA, CPLCA and Curt Hamrell inviting us as volunteers to participate in Land and Energy Management Association of Canada Annual Conference. It is a fantastic event to listen and learn from various specialists in wide range of topics - from emotional intelligence, aboriginal projects, legal aspects in property rights, food bank to US election. Land professionals are great people. They are kind, caring, generous and down to earth. I can’t express more joy and appreciation to meet a lot of them in the event. Having fun, encouraging and meaningful conversations with industry peers is priceless!
