We are pitching at ChangeNOW ! We will present the business model canvas of the regenerative company to our future investors on Monday March 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Here is our pitch ! Our Business Model Canvas of the Regenerative company – (REGEN)BMC – makes it possible to identify areas of degeneration, he potential for regeneration of a company's economic activity and to identify new regenerative products and services to be launched in a collaborative approach with a set of stakeholders brought together. It is a process structured over 5 workshops which allows each entity involved in the value chain of a product/service to integrate the socio-economic services to be provided into its own area of responsibility. Each stakeholder is thus able to anticipate the new processes to be implemented in shared governance. We are developing sectoral consulting versions of REGEN BMC to meet the specific needs of businesses and local authorities: food, fashion, alcohol, construction, tourism, banking and digital. And a coaching version of REGEN BMC for start-ups . 👉 Learn more about the #RegenBMC https://lnkd.in/erZGmfb5 ChangeNOW is one of the largest events dedicated to positive impact in France with an international dimension. The objective is clear: to propose solutions for the planet during conferences and round tables. Each year, personalities from different backgrounds participate who have in common a desire to respond to the major challenges of the future by inviting 400 speakers from 120 different countries and welcoming 1,200 investors. This year, they promise us to enter a sustainable and more human world on March 25, 26 and 27 at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris. 👉 Register https://lnkd.in/eNczTSuM NOUS SOMMES VIVANTS, LE COLLECTIF DE LA TRANSITION ECOLOGIQUE #NOUSSOMMESVIVANTS#NOUSSOMMESVIVANTS

At BioInnovation Institute, we support early-stage innovation to create a long-lasting impact. Scientific-based innovation often takes a long time before it reaches the market and society, but to succeed, it requires investors who are in it for the long haul and do not expect a fast return on investment. But taking this into account, how does an investor assess the value of early-stage scientific-based innovation? I will ask this question to the talented Karen Firestone, who will join us for a ‘Talks at the Square’ on 28 October. You can sign up here: https://bit.ly/3YdLSri

Amazing event in Paris last week: During 3 days, ChangeNOW brought together, probably, the most innovative solutions and impactful changemakers tackling our planet's biggest challenges, to take action. Almost 1.000 companies, 35.000 participants from 120 countries sharing ideas, best practices and building bridges to create opportunities for thousands of key actors of change, in an inspiring and action-oriented event. A fantastic opportunity to meet, together with the Greentech Ventures Capitals, impact funds, foundations, private companies & banks, amazing entrepreneurs, activists and politics in the same place. Lots of wonderful appointments, passionate discussions about brilliant business ideas and how to activate (urgently) the changes we absolutely need for the planet (talent, budget, politics, technologies and behaviours). It was also a magnifique opportunity for Marc García-Durán Huet, Alex Ruiz Busquest & I to discover, for Underwatergardens International, new businesses and practices. It was also very inspiring to meet experts, networks and new players to reinforce our project like Wave-powered desalination solutions, regenerative agriculture and green praxis, revive bee populations, nature based solutions to clean the planet improving the economy and securing food chain, food or pharma based on seaweeds, new eco-materials, IA, education platforms and solutions to protect the biodiversity... At the end, an ocean of solutions to be optimistic. #changeNow #climatechange #blueconomy #greentech #circulareconomy

♻️ Did you miss our recent masterclass on cross-sectoral collaboration for the Regenerative Transition? We explored universities' pivotal role in driving the transition towards a regenerative economy, featuring valuable insights from Dr. Menno Wierdsma, Dr. Marlies van der Wee, and Tasha Day. Here are our four takeaways: 1️⃣ Purposeful learning: Students prioritise impact-driven learning over exams, emphasising the importance of prioritising learning above assessment. 2️⃣ Partnerships for progress: Successful partnerships thrive on equality, proximity, reciprocity, and long-term engagement to foster collaborative environments. 3️⃣ Engaging external partners: Dedicated individuals are crucial for programs engaging external partners, easing pressure on educators. 4️⃣ Hands-on learning: Practical experience cultivates vital real-life skills, necessitating a shift from traditional teaching methods. Let's utilise these insights to propel sustainability and innovation in our projects and institutions, shaping a future where regenerative practices flourish. 🌍 Don't miss out on future events around university-industry collaboration, entrepreneurship, impact & sustainability and more. Last Thursday, we launched RX on Board: Regenerative Business Innovation online program. It was the first out of 19 interactive sessions (in six modules) we’ll be covering for the next three months guided by global experts in sustainable and regenerative practices. A blend of modern business innovation with ancient and indigenous wisdom. 🌱 View our program overview presentation here - https://lnkd.in/eEQXm4m7 Our first invited guest speaker, Jeremy Lent presented in his presentation on “How Can Technology Be in the Service of Life?” the flaws of the current global capitalist system and its roots in the worldview of separation and human supremacy. He concluded by emphasising the potential danger of the 'nature as a machine' metaphor in modern science and technology, and the need to explore alternative metaphors to provide a different understanding of the universe. Understanding Complex Systems and Nature's Intelligence, Ecological Civilisation and Life-Based Principles. Jeremy discussed the principles of life and their application to technology and society. He proposed the concept of an ecological civilisation, a shift towards a life-based economic and cultural system that promotes sustainable flourishing for both humans and the environment. He emphasised the principles of ecosystems like symbiosis, diversity, connectivity, balance, and regeneration, and how these could impact various aspects of society including technology, infrastructure, governance, and culture. Jeremy concluded by suggesting that this new way of thinking could lead to a long-lasting era of mutually beneficial symbiosis between humans and the living Earth.
