  • Our team in Geelong had a great day out over the weekend supporting Camp Quality Convoy for Cancer 2025. Six drivers participated in the convoy to raise money for kids and families experiencing the challenging realities of a cancer diagnosis. We beat our target, raising $3,306! Thank you to everyone that donated and supported the Cleanaway Moolap crew. It’s just one of the many ways we bring our Guiding Principles to life, in particular ‘Show genuine care’, to give back to the communities where we operate. Camp Quality brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer. Their programs and services help families build optimism and resilience through community, education and fun.

  • Our fleet of nine brand-new kerbside collection trucks for Mitchell Shire Council are all lined up and ready to support the introduction of a new food organics garden organics (FOGO) and glass recycling service starting this March. FOGO is highly valuable material that can be turned into compost for agriculture and glass can be infinitely recycled without compromise to quality, making this new service a major win for sustainability in the area. Congratulations to the Shire and its residents on doing their part to make a #sustainablefuture possible by diverting even more materials from landfill to be beneficially reused in the circular economy.

Exciting news! 🚛 Mitchell Shire Council's contractor Cleanaway, has welcomed nine brand-new kerbside collection trucks to the fleet! This milestone is a key step in the rollout of Mitchell Shire’s kerbside collection changes, starting this March. These new trucks will improve efficiency and support the introduction of two additional kerbside bins: ✅ The food and garden organics bin will be collected and taken to Repurpose It in Epping to be processed into valuable compost. ✅ The glass recycling bin will be transported to Cleanaway in Coolaroo, ensuring glass is properly sorted and recycled into new products. This investment is a major step toward a more sustainable waste management system, helping reduce landfill and promote a circular economy. The kerbside collection changes align with the Victorian Government’s Recycling Victoria policy, which aims to improve recycling rates, reduce waste, and minimise environmental impacts. 📅 Stay informed! Check your bin collection schedules via the My Mitchell app or visit https://lnkd.in/gfHRZn95 for details. #Cleanaway #RepurposeIt
