On October 16th, PeelPioneers had the pleasure of hosting a delegation of Ghanaian entrepreneurs from the tropical fruit industry. This visit, organized by CBI and supported by the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken was an inspiring exchange of ideas on sustainable innovation in food production and circular economies. During the visit, Sytze van Stempvoort shared insights into how we transform orange peels into valuable food ingredients, focusing on our upcycling approach and tackling specific challenges in orange peel valorization. The Ghanaian delegation shared their experiences, highlighting how tropical fruit waste can be repurposed similarly. The Centre for the Promotion of Imports (CBI) plays a critical role in supporting SMEs from developing countries, helping them strengthen their export strategies to meet European standards. This visit underscored the importance of international collaboration in creating sustainable solutions for the global food industry. We’re proud to be part of such an important dialogue and look forward to fostering more partnerships that drive sustainability forward. #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #PeelPioneers #FoodInnovation #Ghana #CBI #MinistryofForeignAffairs #Upcycling #GlobalImpact
