Seabed 2030’s Post

✍️ We’re thrilled to sign two MOUs today; with GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel and Challenger 150. Committing to these partnerships during the first ever UN Ocean Decade conference has even more significance. 🌊 Based in Germany, GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel is committed to the transfer of knowledge and technology in support of preserving the ocean and its resources for future generations. 🦑 The Challenger 150 programme is a global scientific cooperative developed to respond to the needs of the UN Ocean Decade. As their science mission depends on good maps of the sea floor, they’re delighted to become Seabed 2030 partners. 💡 Filling knowledge gaps for sustainable ocean management is a key aspect of mission Seabed 2030 – a mission partners like GEOMAR and Challenger 150 make possible. We look forward to working together to accelerate ocean research efforts in the marine science sector.
